We are husband and wife....This is a blog that we have jointly created to track our progress on a challenge....
The Challenge:
One Hundred Pounds deposited and to be used as each individual sees fit. The objective is to grow this initial and one off deposit into as much cash as possible over the fixed period of 1 year....Starting tomorrow, 19th September 2011.
The rules:
Very little in the way of rules, only the £100 can be used and it can't be combined with any other cash / money. One can buy and sell things, just add it to fixed rate deposit account (unlikely though!) etc etc.
If the £100 is lost during the year, then that person loses by default.
The prize:
Currently we haven't thought of a prize, except that is, boasting rights for a generation.
Participants:
Mr HPC - Full time job as a structural engineer, mid-thirties.
Mrs HPC - stay at home mum looking after two cheeky little ones...
We hope to update the blog on an ongoing basis, and let it serve as keeping a running total.
